Full-Time Recreation Facility Maintenance Technician

City of Spearfish is accepting applications for a full-time Recreation Facility Maintenance Technician who will perform the maintenance and upkeep of the Recreation Facility. Includes pre-open and startup.

Responsibilities: Will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to Recreation Facility and grounds.

Requirements: Two or more years of experience in similar maintenance work. Prefer candidates who have experience with minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.

Parks/Recreation/Forestry Technician

City of Spearfish is accepting applications for a full-time Parks/Recreation/Forestry Technician.

Responsibilities: Will maintain and manage the parks, campground, cemetery, urban forestry and cultural resources within the jurisdiction of the City of Spearfish.

Requirements: One to five years experience in parks operation/maintenance or a combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of this position. Candidate will be required to have/obtain a valid SD CDL Class 1B driving certificate and a high school diploma or GED certificate. Ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and concrete work.

Minimum salary: Tech I - $11.39, Tech II - $11.96, Tech III - $13.21; DOE/DOQ; Excellent Benefits; Equal Opportunity Employer. Position open until filled.
