Due to the popularity of the South Dakota Titles to Go system with library users all over the state, hold lists for many of the best sellers have grown long and frustrating. In order to reduce the wait for some of our local patrons, our library has added copies of some of the popular titles that are available only for Spearfish users. This means that even though you are number 17 on a book shared with the consortium, you may actually get the book much sooner when our title becomes available, and this will take place automatically. This should improve wait times, so don't hesitate to add yourself to some of those long lists, because you may be pleasantly surprised.
We will also be adding titles that are not available throughout the rest of the state, so we encourage you to log in as soon as you enter the SD Titles to Go site to make sure that you have access to all of our local titles as well. You will not need to do anything special to search these titles. They will show up just like the many other titles available to the entire consortium, once you are logged in.
