Spearfish SportsPlex at Skyridge: Big Vision. Big Complex. Big Impact:

The new Spearfish Sports Complex will be a permanent landmark for our community and the northern Black Hills region. With upwards of 600 Spearfish youth soccer and softball players, and over 800 adult softball players this complex will meet the current and future needs of our community.  Wih this new complex, the City of Spearfish and local associations will be able to host local, state and regional tournaments that were unattainable before due to limited field space.

Vision:

 To provide the City of Spearfish with recreational space to meet the current and future needs of a growing community. 

The SportsPlex Consists of:

Six soccer fields, one of which is a championship-style field.  When broken down, fields are divisible into eighteen smaller fields. Four regulation-size softball fields, four fenced softball bullpens. Ample restroom facilities that are ADA compliant.  Two Concession stands, food truck parking,  a large picnic structure, and over 450 parking spots.

The Impact:

This complex will allow the city of spearfish to meet many of the current recreational needs of our community.  Once constructed, this Sportsplex will draw an estimated 80,000 visitors to Spearfish each year for the regular season, league, and large tournament games that we’ve been unable to host due to the lack of facilities capable of hosting such events.

"Finish the Vision"  was developed with the intent to build the amenities that will make the complex an establishment to be proud of.

All donations are needed and appreciated to help add amenities outside of the basic needed field space. Contributions above $25,000 will be permanently recognized at the complex by being prominently displayed on a founding sponsor sign. If you are a business owner in the area, we encourage you to align your brand and invite you to become a sponsor.
