Class Descriptions

SilverSneakers® Classic (Strength): Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and Silver Sneakers ball, offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and standing support. 

SilverSneakers® Circuit (Cardio):  Join us for a fun workout to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is used for support and stretching! 

SilverSneakers® Stability (Stretching): This low-impact class creates a relaxing stretch-based class for the whole is designed to improve balance, agility, mobility, and power in the body. Movements are practiced in a slow, go at your own pace format. Chair support is offered to facilitate standing stability and seated stretch options. 

SilverSneakers® Yoga: This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and rage of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. 

FUSION (Strength & Cardio): This powerful, quick-paced body sculpting class rapidly transitions through targeted sequences to elongate and tone your entire body. Our original creation, this class upholds high standards to challenge you beyond your limits. 

Shallow Water Aerobics:  Low-impact but high energy! Take advantage of the aquatics environment to energize your workout routine. This class incorporates cardio and resistance training for a full-body workout. Class is held in shallow water; participants do not need to be able to swim. 

Deep Water Aerobics: Deep water aerobics is performed in water that submerges the body up to the neck. Having your full body working against the resistance of the water makes the exercises more challenging. You are able to use deep water aerobics to tone your entire body and burn more calories.
