  1. Fall Cleanup Days

    September 22, 2019, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Spearfish Restricted Use Site

    The Restricted Use Site (RUS) is located on Highway 85, 1.5 miles north of I-90's Exit 10 intersection, then left onto Camp Comfort Road. Curbside pickup will not be available during Fall Cleanup. Items Accepted at the RUS:  Trees, leaves, grass clippings, construction materials, metal, iron, appliances, batteries, furniture, carpet and mattresses/box springs. Lawn mowers, weed eaters and any other gas/diesel powered item needs to be completely drained of all fluids (fuel and oil) before being accepted at the RUS. The following items are NOT ACCEPTED at the RUS: Household garbage, plastic, clothing, asbestos, treated lumber, chemicals and hazardous or toxic wastes. Cardboard and paper can be dropped off for free year-round in recycling receptacles during RUS hours. There will be a charge for the following items: Tires (no rims) and appliances with freon.
