Requirements: Laborers will work 40 hrs/wk unless noted otherwise. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age before date of hire. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving history. Starting wage for public works/parks department laborers is $12.00/hr.
Recreation & Aquatics Center:
Lifeguard Coordinator (35-40 hrs/wk)
Recreation Facility Janitorial (30-40 hrs/wk)
Summer Customer Service Assistant (20-40 hrs/wk)
Summer Recreation Assistant (30-40 hrs/wk)

Requirements: Summer Customer Service Assistants, Lifeguards, and Recreation Facility Janitorial must be at least 16 years of age, and all other positions must be at least 18 years of age, before date of hire. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving history. Starting wage is $10.00-12.00/hr depending on position. Hours may be weather-dependent.
Seasonal/Temporary Wildland Engine Boss
Requirements: Seasonal/Temporary Wildland Engine Boss must be at least 18 years of age before date of hire. Must be currently certified Engine Boss (Certificates of training and completed task book must be provided), and must have the ability to pass NWCG Arduous Work Capacity Test (Pack Test). Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an insurable driving history, and must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Starting wage is $18.00/hr.
Desired Qualifications: S-215 Wildland Urban Interface; S-211 Wildland Pumps; S-212 Wildland Chain Saws; Faller 2 Certification (previously Faller B); Structural Firefighter Certification
