The historic Log Cabin in the Spearfish City Park is available for small-group rentals May 1st through September 30th.
What was once known as The Community House, designed and built in 1924 by W.S. Knight and Gus Jatko, has been used for meetings by the Fraternal Order of Police, the American Legion and the Spearfish Summer Youth Recreation Program.
Amenities
The facility includes four 8-foot tables and 26 chairs.
Rental Periods
The Log Cabin can be rented from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. This time period include setup and clean up. The facility can be rented May through September only.
Deposits & Fees
The rental fee is $75 per day. To make a reservation, the applicant is required to pay $25 of the rental fee at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days prior to the rental date.
Insurance
This location requires renters to maintain occurrence based commercial general liability insurance with a limit of not less than one $300,000 per occurrence. A Certificate of Liability showing coverage is required to be submitted 30 days prior to the rental date.
Cleaning/Damage Deposit
A payment account on file is required to cover any damages or additional charges that occur during the event. Brown Bag Permit
The Brown Bag Permit fee is $40. Payment is due 30-days prior to the rental date and will be charged to the payment method on file. This fee is non-refundable. Photo Gallery
